3. Display Diagnostic Limitations & Disclaimers
Visual Screening Aid: All tools on DeadPixelTests.com operate as visual aids. They generate pure solid color fields, test patterns, and canvas animations in your web browser. Detecting defects relies on your personal visual observation.
No Warranty Guarantee: DeadPixelTests.com is not an official manufacturer inspection agent. We do not guarantee that any retailer, distributor, or manufacturer (e.g., Apple, Dell, LG, ASUS, Samsung) will accept test outputs or generated reports as formal warranty claims.
No Scientific Hardware Certification: Browser tests cannot replace laboratory optical colorimeters, spectrophotometers, or oscilloscope measurements.
4. Stuck Pixel Fixer Limitations
Our Stuck Pixel Fixer utility utilizes rapid RGB color strobe cycles to stimulate liquid crystal molecules. While some stuck subpixels may recover, software methods cannot repair physically broken transistors (dead pixels). We provide no guarantee of pixel recovery or restoration.
5. OLED / QD-OLED & Photosensitivity Safety
OLED Burn-in Prevention: Static bright colors should never be left paused on OLED, QD-OLED, or AMOLED panels for extended hours. Users must cycle colors normally and exit the test upon completing visual inspection.
Photosensitive Warning: The Stuck Pixel Fixer tool flashes rapid color strobes. Individuals with photosensitive epilepsy or light sensitivities should avoid looking directly at the flashing strobe canvas.
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Automate unauthorized scraping or server overload attacks.
- Embed our tools in third-party iframes without attribution.
- Misrepresent generated inspection summaries as official factory certifications.
