⚠️ Camera Exposure & Diagnostic Limitations Notice
Important: Smartphone and digital camera photos often severely exaggerate backlight bleed and IPS glow. Camera sensors dynamically adjust exposure and ISO sensitivity in dark rooms, making screens look significantly brighter and more cloud-like than what the human eye perceives. Do not conclude a display is defective based on photos alone; judge display uniformity with your naked eyes from a normal viewing distance.

Backlight Bleed
Cause: Imperfections in bezel pressure or structural frames that allow LED backlights to leak around panel borders.
Viewing Test: Angle independent. Moving your head left or right will not alter the position or intensity of backlight bleed.
Tech Profile: Mostly affects LCD/LED panel displays. Covered by warranties if excessive.
IPS Glow
Cause: Inherent optical glow properties of liquid crystal structures used in IPS technology at wide angles.
Viewing Test: Angle dependent. Changing your viewing position or stepping back 4 feet will shift or eliminate the glowing corners.
Tech Profile: Standard technical behavior of IPS panels; rarely covered by warranties.
OLED considerations
Cause: Organic self-emissive subpixels can turn off completely, achieving true black. Backlight bleeding is physically impossible on OLEDs.
Viewing Test: Uniformity checks. Check for static logo remnants (burn-in/retention) or thin gray banding on dark-gray screens.
Tech Profile: True infinite contrast. Uniformity issues are covered on premium OLED lines.
